About

Software and game developer building simulations, synthesizers, and web apps.

I'm a developer who's optimistic about the breakthroughs that innovation and creativity make possible in software and game development. At an early age I was fascinated by science, technology, and video games, and those interests still show up in what I build: a simulated solar system, software synthesizers, and games.

I enjoy the challenge of solving a problem with logic and code (and lots of caffeine). There's something so rewarding about the moment you get something to work properly.

I started college a little later in life. For a long time, I felt it was beyond me, that I wasn't good enough. Eventually I reached a point where I told myself I was going to give it my all and do everything I could to succeed. Maybe I hadn't been good enough, but if I worked that much harder and became the best version of myself, how could they deny me? My plan was to become so good at what I do that I couldn't be denied.

I began setting small goals that built up to bigger ones. As my grades improved, something happened: it motivated me even more. Soon I was making the Dean's List and the President's List and winning scholarships. The best part, though, was everything I was learning. Being able to create something so complex from nothing but code and logic is extremely rewarding.
